Until COVID, the Mexican eCommerce opportunity was expected to reach $12.8BN USD in the coming two years. The eCommerce Foundation said in 2018 that Mexico was the largest ecommerce market in LatAm, including Brazil.

As the Coronavirus continues to rattle small businesses around the globe, our partner network continues to evolve its suite of emergency resources to meet the unique needs of our ecommerce exporters. We recognize that our community’s immediate needs are financial and we are encouraged by the rapid deployment of critical financial support packages unveiled in recent days. In parallel, this series of “conversations from the field” provides SMEs selling through cross-border ecommerce with timely in-country insights that can help them see what might be around the corner.

The opportunity and necessity to bolster your digital trade capacity and global reach has arrived. We bring together ecommerce industry experts in a given market to discuss how COVID-19 is impacting consumer sentiment and behavior, supply chain facilitation, manufacturing, marketing strategies, and more.

Each webinar “conversation” will be 45 minutes long and include one or more of the following:

  • An in-country expert working for or directly with an ecommerce marketplace
  • A consumer insights marketing firm
  • A merchant currently selling online into the given market
  • A direct to consumer fulfillment and/or warehouse operator
  • A government official in the areas of customs clearance, port/air supply management, manufacturing, cross-border policy maker (as it pertains to ecommerce transactions)

*All webinars are recorded and can be viewed here
