Digital Cybersecurity: Steps to Take to Protect Your Organization and Value-Chain Prior to a Breach

Since the announcement of the global pandemic, ecommerce businesses have been targeted by cyber threats globally. Coronavirus-related spear phishing attacks have seen a 667% increase since March 2020 – the exposure and risk to ecommerce websites is greater than ever. With an increase in social engineering, phishing, and email attacks, it’s critical to learn about the steps and tools you can take to protect yourself, and your value-chain from potential cyber attacks.

This is a follow up session and first of a three-part interactive workshop in CITC’s web series on cybersecurity presented by Sem Ponnambalam, President of xahive. Possible co-presentation by Dept. of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity Division in California. The two-hour workshop will review programmatic, policy and technical steps any ecommerce business should consider to protect their online presence and transactions before a breach occurs. Attendees will receive guidance on policies/procedures and an audit checklist. Please come prepared with questions and scenarios you may want addressed for your global operations.
